It’s easy to get lost in the beauty of the stunning desert scenery as the sky changes into oranges, pinks, and purples. But when the sun finally takes a bow in Phoenix, a whole other desert comes to life and inhabitants are exposed to the thriving nightlife. Part of this desert nightlife culture is the wide array of musicians that rock the stages. Discover concerts that can’t be missed in 2017.
Celebrate the Start of Fall with Great Tunes
Phoenix locals who are happy to trade the heat of summer for slightly cooler fall can combine these balmy evenings with a great fall lineup. The 1st of September kicks off with a bang at the Marquee Theatre with Amigo the Devil, Tiger Army, and Dave Hause and the Mermaid. Lacuna Coil is another act that sets the tone for September, making their appearance on the 17th of September. Other acts to keep an eye out for during September include the Swingtime Jazz Quartet, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Imagine Dragons.
Sounds Warm Up As Temperatures Cool Down
October is the ideal month for outdoor entertainment as the temperatures cool down a bit more. The month kicks off with acts such as the Social Club Misfits, Andy Mineo, and Wordsplayed at The Van Buren. DJ Organic ensures some epic dance tunes to work off all that extra energy at Rips Ales & Cocktails on October 4th. Other acts set to amaze crowds through the rest of the month include Olivia Newton-John, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Andre Rieu.
As November rolls in to close off business deals for the year and get locals into the festive spirit, some great acts grace the stages of Phoenix. The month starts off well with a great lineup of DJs at Bar Smith on November 2nd. Other DJs that make their appearance through the month of November include DJ Stoneypie, DJ Manchester, DJ Young South, and more. Other musical acts include Fall Out Boy, Animals As Leaders, and Periphery. Tori Amos and Sweater Beats bring up the rear of the November lineup.
2017’s Final Curtain
Early December sees The Piano Guys strut their stuff at the Comerica Theatre on December 5th. The lineup gets even more electrifying after this with the likes of Young the Giant on the 15th at the Mesa Amphitheatre. Mac Sabbath, Broloaf, and Dwarves bring up the rear for 2017. There are still a few days to fill in the December lineup, however, these will undoubtedly fill up as bands are booked. Guests are reminded to keep an eye on the calendar.
Acts that are set to perform on various time slots from September through December include Jazz Alliance, Dan Lovelock, Alan DeQuina, and Chuck E. Baby. There are also a number of DJs to look forward to throughout. The music scene in Phoenix is vibrant thanks to the abundance of music venues.
